Certificate of Recognition (COR)

All CAODC members are required to obtain and maintain a valid Certificate of Recognition (COR). This condition applies to both drilling, directional drilling, and service rig contractors that are residents of, or are operating rigs in any of the Provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, or Manitoba.

What is a Certificate of Recognition (COR)?

COR recognizes employers who go beyond the legal requirements of the Workers Compensation Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. These employers implement best practices in their health and safety programs and in their return-to-work (RTW) programs.
