CAODC joins the Geothermal Collaboration Network.

For Immediate Release: April 30, 2020

CAODC joins the Geothermal Collaboration Network.

The Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors has joined several other industry organizations to form the Geothermal Collaboration Network in an effort to broaden the scope of work for its members.

Producing geothermal energy requires many of the same services as producing oil and gas, including vertical, directional, and horizontal drilling. Canadian drilling technology is a natural fit for geothermal exploration, and the synergies throughout the newly formed network create an excellent opportunity for all involved.

“CAODC members are the world’s best when it comes to downhole technology, and we are pleased to be a part of a developing industry that will offer good jobs to Canadians,” says President and CEO Mark A. Scholz.

CAODC looks forward to working with its partners and playing an important role in supporting the development of the Canadian geothermal industry.
